CCHIT calls out for healthcare stakeholder feedback
Over the next few weeks the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) is seeking comments from healthcare stakeholders regarding Phase II of its project to create a mechanism for the certification of HIT products. The organization's eventual goal is to promote the adoption of interoperable HIT across existing boundaries.
Phase II of this particular portion of the CCHIT end goal includes drafting and finalizing certification requirements and test procedures, and publishes a forward-looking roadmap of certification requirements for HIT products in the future, according comments releases by the organization.
CCHIT is hosting a series of Town Calls to facilitate the feedback and exchange of ideas they are looking for, from July 11th through August 11th. The Town Calls consist of a conference call and powerpoint presentation which are being made available. To get more information regarding the times for these conferences, visit www.cchit.org.
