Subimo, Allied team to boost consumer knowledge
Subimo, a provider of web-based decision-support tools, last week announced a partnership with Allied Benefit Systems, a national employee benefits provider, through which Allied will integrate Subimo's Healthcare Advisor and PharmaAdvisor into Allied's existing consumer platform, according to a joint release.
As a result of the integration of Subimo's integrated decision-support tools, Allied employer and HMO customers will have access to data on physician procedure volumes for individual physicians in the nine states where this data is released. Additionally, consumers will now be able to easily gather information on a variety of other issues such as medical procedures, potential complications and risks, drug costs and formulary status among other things.
Subimo's toolset compliments Allied's existing platform that allows individuals to access claims, review year-to-date deductibles and out-of-pocket status. Allied hopes that these new services will result in improved healthcare for members as well as overall reduction of healthcare costs.
