Boston is site of AHRA's annual meeting & exposition in August
Boston will be the location of this year's American Healthcare Radiology Administrators' (AHRA) 32nd annual meeting & exposition, August 1 - 5, at the Hynes Convention Center. The show is comprised of more than 170 vendors and 80 sessions and workshops.
AHRA begins the show early in order to offer a certified radiology administrator examination. It will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
On Sunday, August 1, the five-day event begins with the AHRA Education Foundation Golf Tournament (6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.), educational sessions and the President's Reception (6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.). AHRA's grand opening ceremony will take place on Monday from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, AHRA welcomes Ray Kurzweil, a pioneer in computerized speech recognition and optical character recognition, as he presents the keynote session from 9:45 a.m. - 11 a.m. Later that evening, meeting goers can attend AHRA's theme party from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Opening the day on Wednesday, Kathleen Passanisi, PT, CSP, will give a keynote address from 8 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. On Thursday, AHRA closes its annual meeting with the awarding of the organization's highest honor, the AHRA Gold Award.
