Delphi inks vital sign monitor licensing agreement

Delphi Medical Systems has inked a new worldwide licensing agreement for the manufacture and marketing of vital signs monitors that use cardiac technologies and products from Inovise Medical Inc.

Inovise's AUDICOR software and sensors will be integrated and distributed as part of its vital sign monitors. The manufacturing and marketing effort associated with the monitors will be directed at home, alternate sites, and hospitals and clinics, said Delphi.

AUDICOR features automated heart sound detection and evaluation with advanced electrocardiography (ECG) in a point-of-care report to assist physicians in quickly detecting acute cardiac conditions.
