Kodak releases new digital color medical imager

Eastman Kodak Co. has announced its new Kodak Color Medical Imager 1000 that prints diagnostic color images for nuclear medicine, ultrasound, 3D imaging and other digital medical imaging systems.
   
This network-ready desktop digital imager features an integrated DICOM interface. Additional features include support of 13 languages, a touch-screen interface, full-color patient images and reports, as well as image protection via a durable laminate overcoat resistant to fingerprints, water and fading.
