Medrad expands MR product line
Medrad Inc. introduced the Veris physiological monitor designed for adult, pediatric and neonate patient monitoring that can withstand high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environments up to 3 Tesla.
Veris has a large, color screen and a familiar user interface to facilitate training and utilization. Five-lead ECG monitoring provides simultaneous display of up to six waveforms. Specially designed accessories for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients allow users to monitor patients of all sizes and ages. The Veris integral tray is designed for cable management and accessory storage. Power is supplied by an AC direct wall connection or by the extended life battery.
Veris is available in six configurations to meet specific customer needs for anesthesia, sedation, cardiac MR, research, and basic patient monitoring.
Medrad said it worked closely in the development of Veris with Criticare Systems Inc. (CSI).
Veris is currently available in the United States and Europe and will be available in the rest of the world later this year, Medrad said.
