North American Society for Cardiac Imaging hosts 31st annual meeting
Dallas, Texas is the location of Cardiovascular Imaging 2003, the 31st annual meeting and scientific session of the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging (NASCI) this month.
In conjunction with the fourth International Workshop on Coronary MR and CT Angiography, the four-day event at the Hotel Adolphus Sept. 13-16 will highlight prominent research conducted on non-invasive imaging with MR and CT for evaluating diseases affecting the heart, central vessels and/or structures.
Topics will include the pros and cons of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, such as free breathing vs. breath-hold MR imaging, the role of contrast agents in MR artery imaging, and coronary angiography vs. plaque imaging.
The conference is jointly sponsored by the University of Minnesota, which is authorized by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The university designates the educational activity for a maximum of 25 credits toward the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association (AMA).
