EMC makes changes in its Partner Services Network

EMC Corp. is expanding its authorized services network (ASN) for mid-market resellers and system integrators to offer professional services for storage area networks (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) implementations.

Last year, EMC introduced its Velocity Partner Program, allowing its channel partners to work more closely and better address new and underserved markets. Now, EMC is including qualified Velocity Partners in its ASN and providing access to EMC intellectual property, training, mentoring and licensed service delivery methodologies for a range of Clariion-based SAN and NAS professional services.

"We're seeing significant demand from customers looking to move to a storage networking environment and quickly capitalize on the cost efficiencies and benefits of SANs and NAS," said Terry Slack, vice president of product marketing and business development at Midrange Computer Solutions Inc., an EMC ASN partner.

The new services will be available to qualified EMC partners worldwide.
