Pioneers Memorial Hospital selects NovaRad, Konica Minolta products

Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, Calif., has installed NovaRad's NovaPACS in the radiology and imaging department of its 99-bed hospital.

Pioneers also purchased an Xpress computed radiography (CR) scanner from Konica Minolta Medical Imaging with a NovaPACS connection that delivers images directly to the PACS.

With the installation, the hospital is now 80 percent filmless. Pioneers radiology and imaging department currently provides MRI, CT mammography, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound services to the Brawley area, located in southern California near the Mexico border.
