Philips and Kansas Spine Hospital unveil strategic alliance
Philips Medical Systems will supply the Kansas Spine Hospital with a range of its medical imaging technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
The Wichita hospital includes 22 licensed beds, four operating rooms and special procedure/pain management rooms. The facility already has a Philips 3-Tesla MRI system and 16-slice CT scanner.
Philips also will supply Kansas Spine Hospital with medical information technologies, patient monitoring systems, several types of x-ray equipment, as well as lighting, electronics and consulting services from Philips' other business units.
Kansas Spine Hospital is a specialty hospital dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of the spine and pain management that accompanies spinal problems. The hospital opened this past December.
