Per-Se Technologies debuts productivity tools

Per-Se Technologies Inc. at last week's HIMSS meeting launched a new class of services to help healthcare organizations navigate the business environment.

As part of the company's Connective Healthcare strategy, Per-Se introduced a portfolio of products to produce operational efficiencies and foster revenue growth in two categories: Revenue Cycle Management and Resource Management.

Per-Se's Revenue Cycle Management product is designed to improve the income potential for healthcare organizations by ensuring that they use accurate and timely data to accelerate reimbursement and eliminate operational inefficiencies. These solutions work with existing software systems and services throughout the healthcare organization's reimbursement cycle to provide superior access management, receivables management and performance management capabilities.

Per-Se's Resource Management includes ANSOS One-Staff, an enterprise-wide staff scheduling and productivity system, with Shift Bidding -- launched in February - which enables hospitals to post open work shifts via the Internet or an intranet for bidding by employees and external healthcare professionals. In addition, ORSOS One-Call is an enterprise patient scheduling and perioperative information system.
