Digirad files papers with SEC for initial public offering

Digirad Corp. has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock.

All of the shares are to be sold by the Poway, Calif.-based company.

Digirad develops, manufactures and distributes solid-state medical imaging products and services for the detection of cardiovascular disease and other medical conditions.
