MedAssets and RPI make patient satisfaction benchmarking a priority

Group purchasing organization MedAssets HSCA and 3d Health have inked an agreement to provide patient satisfaction benchmarking.

3d Health will offer its 3dStat to members of both MedAssets HSCA and its affiliate, Radiology Partners Inc. (RPI) The tool will establish a comprehensive patient satisfaction benchmarking database for imaging centers in the United States.

Based on a satisfaction survey emailed to patients, results are compiled online for each imaging center. Centers also provide 3dHealth with an annual center profile that summarizes patient volumes, staffing levels, ownership, technology and other demographics. 3dHealth says the metrics are aggregated and allow a center to benchmark its patient satisfaction results against other centers by modality, geography, ownership structure, volume, payer mix, and non-physicians staffing levels.
