McKenna Health System will deploy Eclipsys Clinical and Financial Software

Eclipsys Corp. announced that in April, McKenna Health System, a 132-bed community health system based in New Braunfels, Texas, will implement Eclipsys' Sunrise advanced clinical and financial information software as well as engage the company's outsourcing and remote hosting services. 

Eclipsys outsourcing and remote hosting services are designed to assist healthcare organizations to use information technology strategically to facilitate immediate results in performance and infrastructure, while supporting their long-term goals. Under the terms of this agreement, employees that currently support McKenna's IT operations will be transferred to Eclipsys.

In addition to Eclipsys' outsourcing and remote hosting capabilities, McKenna will deploy Eclipsys' Sunrise Clinical Manager with its Nursing and Critical Care solutions, Sunrise ED Manager, Sunrise Medication Management, Knowledge-Based Medication Administration, Knowledge-Based Charting, Morrisey Concurrent Care Manager, Sunrise Surgical Manager, Sunrise Decision Support Manager, advanced financial management and laboratory solutions.
