Elekta hikes its donation to ASRT's education efforts

Elekta AB has made a $10,000 contribution this year to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Education and Research Foundation's Health Care Industry Advisory Council (HCIAC).

HCIAC members meet annually to continue to link imaging technology with technologists. This year's meeting, "The Development of the Radiologist Assistant: How It Will Impact Industry," will be held May 18 through May 20 in Phoenix.

The ASRT Education and Research Foundation supports educational initiatives, programs, projects and research in the field. The Foundation's goal is to help alleviate personnel shortages and enhance patient care.
