Misys rolls out technology at Pascack Valley Hospital

Misys Healthcare Systems is advancing the CPR (computerized patient record) and CPOE (computerized physician order entry) capabilities of a New Jersey-based community hospital.

Pascack Valley Hospital, a 291-bed medical center in Westwood, has purchased the Misys Optimum clinical information management systems including Misys CPR, Misys Data Warehouse, Misys Media Manager, Misys Laboratory and Misys Encompass. Misys CPR is the centerpiece of Misys Optimum, a patient data sharing system that connects the hospital to community-based physicians, clinics and homecare organizations.

The healthcare provider plans to replace its existing clinical system with Misys CPR fully integrated computer-based patient record information system with CPOE.
