Sonora and Prosonic announce license and supply agreement

Sonora Medical Systems signed an exclusive license and supply agreement with Prosonic Company Ltd., with headquarters in Seoul, Korea.

Sonora says the agreement calls for the company to convey certain proprietary know-how and intellectual property to Prosonic in order for Prosonic to perform repair operations on diagnostic ultrasound transducers and refurbish and supply diagnostic ultrasound systems in Korea and other select markets in Asia.

Prosonic is a transducer design and manufacturing company that supplies more than 10,000 high-performance probes per year to various ultrasound companies on a worldwide basis.
