ECR news: Mercury Computer, NovaRad, Rimage

Mercury Computer Systems will showcase its entire Visage product family next week at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria. Mercury’s 3D to the Core platform transforms the medical imaging workflow by enhancing 3D modalities and image quality, and demonstrating performance breakthroughs that are necessary to manage an increasing amount of data. Mercury’s advanced Visage CS Thin Client/Server solution now comprises integrated 3D functionalities including a Cardiac Analysis Option. The new release of Visage PACS, Mercury’s web-based, scalable, enterprise-grade image management system, will include features that enable flexible arrangement of multiple viewers, new options for side-by-side comparison, as well as hanging protocols.


NovaRad has acquired contracts with two additional international hospitals in Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. The hospitals include the 430-bed HIMA-San Pablo Bayamon in Puerto Rico, and the 72-bed Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas. NovaPACS is a PACS that offers fast image retrieval, a full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and a 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up.
