McKesson signs $150 million contract with Adventist
McKesson Corp. this week announced it has signed a three-year, $150 million distribution contract with Adventist Health System, which operates 38 hospitals within 10 states.
The agreement, effective in July, calls for its subsidiary, McKesson Medical-Surgical, to supply medical-surgical distribution services to 35 Adventist acute-care facilities, serving a total of 5,600 beds, in eight states. Additionally, McKesson said it will provide Adventist with its information/data management system, Optyx, along with other distribution and supply chain management services.
