Xtria adds to digital imaging environment at Lahey
Xtria LLC has inked a three-year contract with Lahey Clinic to provide managed services supporting the digital imaging environment for the teaching hospital affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine and its three facilities in Massachusetts. Xtria, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xanser Corp., has provided picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) design and supported PACS implementation for Lahey Clinic for the past four years.
Under the terms of the agreement, Xtria will oversee Lahey's digital imaging environment, including its PACS, imaging modalities, image storage devices, user training, system maintenance and digital imaging quality control processes. In addition, Xtria said it will provide digital imaging and infrastructure equipment, and flexible financing options.
Xtria said the agreement reflects its managed services initiative launched in early 2004.
