TDK releases medical DVD/CD recording station and software
TDK Medical this week launched the DMC-2000 DICOM Media Creator, a medical DVD/CD recording device that incorporates an integrated PC. When connected to any DICOM network, the DMC-2000 network appliance enables recording of patient studies to DVD/CD storage media.
Supporting the DMC-2000's launch, TDK debuted its BluPrint software. When pre-loaded on the DMC-2000, the BluPrint software features a web-based interface accessible from any PC on the DICOM network, said TDK. This allows any computer to be used to push patient studies to the DMC-2000 and record them to DVD/CD.
