Analogic gets FDA nod for FPD

Analogic Corp. has been granted FDA clearance for the GR17 Flat Panel Detector (FPD) developed by Analogic's subsidiary, Anrad.

The GR17, designed for use in all general radiography applications, is the fifth in a series of high-resolution, direct-conversion, digital FPDs produced by Anrad. Its large 17-inch square active area provides for optimum exposure coverage and simplifies positioning the detector around the patient, Analogic said.
