Candelis debuts RIS/PACS suite

Dec. 4—Candelis of Irvine, Calif., debuted a new suite of RIS/PACS technology capabilities and showed ImageGrid PACS Web Viewer, ImageGrid PACS Mammography Web Viewer, ImageGrid RIS and the new ImageGrid DICOM Encapsulation feature at the 93rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last week.

Engineered for medical imaging practices conducting data-intensive imaging studies, the ImageGrid is a DICOM industry-standard PACS appliance optimized for digital-image access and routing. The PACS appliance delivers image management and storage/archive capabilities. It also enhances communication with remote users to maximize investment in digital imaging modalities.
