Del Global Technologies appoints Wong as VP Global R&D and Engineering

Del Global Technologies Corp. today announced that Edward S. Wong has been appointed vice president of Global R&D and Engineering as part of its Del Medical Systems Group segment. Wong is now reporting directly to Christopher N. Japp, President of Del Medical, the company said.

Wong is directing the global engineering programs of Del Medical, leading teams based in Franklin Park, Ill. and Buccinasco, Italy. He comes to Del Medical from Siemens Medical Systems, where he served since 1988 and most recently held the position of vice president of global engineering, Siemens X-Ray Division.
