Healthworks appoints new head of education division
Healthworks Inc. has named Keith R. Chamberlain as CEO of the company’s new Education and Professional Development Division. Chamberlain role is to expand marketing efforts for the company’s current range of educational products and resources for technical personnel in invasive and non-invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, radiology and specialty nursing settings. He will also be tasked with establishing collaborative industry relationships to provide both onsite clinical programs and online courses to healthcare provider organizations, such as hospitals and group practices, medical equipment manufacturers, as well as individual cardiovascular technologists and nursing professionals.
The expansion efforts of Healthworks are a direct response to the rapid adoption and use of imaging technology by cardiologists in both diagnostic and invasive settings.
Chamberlain was most recently the founder and president of Blue Creek Communications, a marketing service company that provided strategic marketing, management and publishing services to professional healthcare associations and arts organizations. Prior to running his own company, Chamberlain was vice president of business development and marketing for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).
