Neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital cancer hospital in Taipei, Taiwan are using Varian Medical Systems’ Trilogy accelerator, a medical linear accelerator, to carry out highly precise intra-cranial stereotactic radiosurgery treatments. The hospital’s radiation oncology department will expand their stereotactic radiosurgery program from brain treatments to treatments throughout the whole body.

Rose Breast Center will now offer a softer, more comfortable mammogram to the more than 18,000 women who receive mammograms at the center each year. MammoPad is a radiolucent, FDA-cleared foam cushion that covers the cold, hard surfaces of all commercially available mammography equipment.
