Contracts for: BioLucent, Varian

Neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital cancer hospital in Taipei, Taiwan are using Varian Medical Systems’ Trilogy accelerator, a medical linear accelerator, to carry out highly precise intra-cranial stereotactic radiosurgery treatments. The hospital’s radiation oncology department will expand their stereotactic radiosurgery program from brain treatments to treatments throughout the whole body. 


Rose Breast Center in Denver, Colo. has been certified as a “Softer Mammogram Provider” by BioLucent, maker of the MammoPad breast cushion. Rose Breast Center will now offer a softer, more comfortable mammogram to the more than 18,000 women who receive mammograms at the center each year. MammoPad is a radiolucent, FDA-cleared foam cushion that covers the cold, hard surfaces of all commercially available mammography equipment.
