NovaRad nets 22 PACS, RIS installs in rural Kansas

Twenty-two medical centers spanning rural Kansas have transitioned to digital images and computer-based scheduling with PACS and RIS technologies from NovaRad.

NovaRad said the systems freed the facilities from having to maintain in-house IT. For those facilities that currently have in-house IT, the remote support will enable IT teams to refocus their time managing other applications for the organization rather than maintaining the radiology systems.

Brown’s Medical Imaging, a NovaRad distributor, facilitated the contracts.
