Radiology AI developer Deepc acquires Osimis image management platform
AI operating system developer Deepc GmbH has acquired Osimis, a medical image management platform, combining the two offerings.
The integration of the Osimis service and Deepc’s AI is aimed at enhancing diagnostic accuracy through the streamlined reading and management of radiology reports, thus improving patient care and clinical trials that rely on data from various imaging modalities.
"At Deepc, we are dedicated to supporting clinicians and their institutions with a unified, scalable platform that delivers value and efficiency across the radiology workflow," Franz Pfister, MD, CEO of Deepc GmbH said in a statement. "We are excited to add Osimis’ industry-leading talent and innovative technology to Deepc as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in radiology AI."
According to the statement, radiology departments that currently use either company’s products can anticipate access to a broader range of features in the near future as the AI is integrated into the Osimis image platform.
