Partnership combines AI tools onto single imaging platform for radiologists in Europe

Healthcare artificial intelligence (AI) developers DeepHealth and Incepto have announced a partnership to broaden access to clinical AI and radiology informatics services in Europe. 

The collaboration was announced at the 2024 European Congress of Radiology in Vienna, and it will enable radiologists all over the continent to utilize DeepHealth OS, a cloud-native service that manages clinical and operational workflows, through Incepto's enterprise imaging platform.

This integration aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and streamline workflows to make screening more efficient, offering clinicians AI tools to improve image storage and report reading, while automatically highlighting clinically relevant insight in need of review. The shift will ideally improve outcomes for patients while allowing for more scans to be conducted.

“It’s important to us that clinics across the world can benefit from these tools,” Sham Sokka, chief operating and technology officer at DeepHealth, said in a statement. “Incepto will give more radiology teams across Europe access to our technology, including our lung cancer AI, which is currently being used in over 90% of screening sites in the UK’s targeted lung cancer screening pilot.”

The new set of offerings will also be piloted in the U.S. at outpatient imaging centers operated by DeepHealth’s parent company, RadNet.
