Contracts: DataCore, MCN Healthcare, Streamline Health

DataCore Software, a provider of storage virtualization and software management, has partnered with Adtech Global Solutions and Viglen Storage Group.

Within the Enterprise space, the arrival in February 2007 of the latest version of DataCore’s SANsymphony 6.0 with its enterprise level management capabilities, has allowed consulting partners to capitalize on the rapidly growing UK market.

Within the general storage space, Viglen have seen significant results as virtualization moves out of the domain of the enterprise and specialist resellers and begins to benefit smaller, budget-conscious organizations.

“What we are seeing is that DataCore Software’s storage virtualization and management solutions are a great fit for Viglen, where we excel in recommending technology that meets the needs, budgets, growth plans and complements existing systems.” said Carl Gleeson, Viglen business development manager.

MCN Healthcare said that Grape Community Hospital of Hamburg, Iowa, will install its Policy Manager, a part of its ellucid software platform. Policy Manager is web-based software that can provide organizations of any size with a policy maintenance process developed specifically for healthcare’s unique workflow. The application enables easy import and uploading functions for the customer’s existing documents. Online access promotes greater efficiencies and communication among staff and committees to review, edit, share and approve documents from virtually any location. Policy Manager can be coupled with MCN’s online Policy Library containing 82 manuals and over 17,000 compliant-ready policies, procedures and forms.
