OmegaAI adds 'progressive loading' for real-time radiology image reading

Cloud PACS provider RamSoft has announced “progressive loading” as a new feature for its OmegaAI application built on the Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The new feature enables radiologists to swiftly load large imaging results from multiple modalities via a web browser for immediate reading.

Progressive loading ensures that the first images load almost instantly, with subsequent images loading progressively in the background as the radiologist examines the results of a patient’s scan. AI supports the uploading by prioritizing images and automatically highlighting clinically relevant findings for review.

Notably, the platform's cloud-native architecture ensures fast image loading irrespective of the network type, surpassing most on-premises enterprise imaging systems.

The Azure ecosystem is HIPAA compliant and ensures scalability and security of radiology images.
