Allscripts signs Butler Health

Healthcare informatics developer Allscripts announced that Butler Health System (BHS) of Butler, Pa., has selected the Chicago-based firm as its provider of an emergency department information system (EDIS) for Butler Memorial Hospital as well as an electronic health record (EHR) for their physician practices.

BHS is a regional network of healthcare delivery services centered on Butler Hospital; a 234-bed acute care facility located about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, according to Allscripts.
