im3D nets 13 sales in Italy

Medical imaging system provider im3D/Medical Imaging Lab has installed its Cad-Colon diagnostic system in 13 healthcare facilities throughout Italy, where it will assist medical specialists in the diagnosis and prevention of colorectal tumors, the Torino, Italy-based company said.

According to im3D/Medical Imaging Lab, its Cad-Colon utilizes CT scans of a patient's abdomen and pelvis to create a 3D model of the patient's colon in which suspect areas are automatically identified and highlighted.
