Sectra signs Spanish mammo agreement
Sectra, a Linköping, Sweden-based developer of diagnostic image devices and information systems, reported that the Hospital Oncológico in San Sebastián, Spain, has selected the vendor’s digital mammography system for deployment at its facility.
The order comprises four Sectra MicroDose Mammography units and Sectra’s breast-imaging PACS, for managing and archiving digital breast images. The systems will be installed at two locations.
Two of the systems will be installed at Hospital Oncológico, which performs 80 screening examinations and 50 clinical examinations on a daily basis. The other two systems will be installed at the Javier de Barkaiztegui annex in downtown San Sebastián, a screening site that performs 80 examinations per day, Sectra said.
