Siemens upgrades Texas hospital

Siemens Medical Solutions will implement its MedSeries4 health information system, designed to support rural and community healthcare providers in IT adoption, at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) in Dallas.

Siemens says that MedSeries4 will help TSRHC deliver high-tech functionality, including browser-based workflow for clinicians.

Additional Siemens IT systems to be installed include NOVIUS Lab, Siemens Pharmacy, syngo Workflow, Enterprise Document Management and Siemens OPENLink.

The system is expected to be implemented by early 2008.
