California childrens hospital opts for NeuroLogica scanner
NeuroLogica has installed a CereTom CT scanner at the Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland in Calif., which will allow hospital technologists to take a CT scan of a child’s brain at their bedside, according to the based medical equipment developer.
Yearly, Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland treats approximately 300 children with head injuries and performs more than 350 neurosurgery procedures that may require an immediate CT scan.
