Cambio deploys EPRs throughout a southern Swedish county

Kronoberg County in the south of Sweden has chosen Cambio's Cosmic to deploy integrated electronic patient records (EPR) to all authorized health professionals.

Over the past three years, the system has been applied across Kronoberg, linking up two hospitals, Vaxo, a 400-bed general hospital and 26 polyclinics. Kronoberg leaders estimate that 3,000-4,000 of the county’s 5,700 healthcare professionals now use the system.

Cambio's Cosmic is a Java-based enterprise management and clinical system, which provides a product suite, based around its Cosmic Spider, and includes e-prescribing to theatres and order communications, according to Cambio.
