Zonare updates central California health system

Memorial Medical Center, a regional healthcare provider, has installed two z.one ultrasound systems from Zonare Medical Systems in the center’s radiology department.

Memorial Medical, a member of Sutter Health, has recently expanded its family of hospitals to 600 beds. The facilities are located in the San Joaquin Valley in central California.

According to the Modesto, Calif.-based Zonare, the z.one ultra system is a Convertible Ultrasound platform, which allows clinicians to perform ultrasounds anywhere in the hospital.

Memorial Medical is using the z.one ultra systems in the neonatal unit, emergency room and the vascular, radiology and obstetrical departments.
