Massachusetts hospital implements Isabel

Newton-Wellesley Hospital, a member of Partners HealthCare System, launched Isabel, a web-based service from Isabel Healthcare used to assist doctors in diagnosing patients. 

Isabel holds a clinical database of more than 11,000 diagnoses and 4,000 drugs, according the Reston, Va.-based Isabel.

Based in Newton, Mass., Newton-Wellesley is made of 1,100 physicians and is a teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine and resident physicians from the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
