Agfa nets Ontario hospital install

Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) will implement Agfa HealthCare’s Impax PACS, RIS and speech recognition systems.

The Cornwall, Ontario-based CCH is an acute-care hospital with approximately 200 beds located in two sites.

The Impax RIS and PACS installation at CCH, which will create a filmless and paperless radiology environment, is scheduled for completion this fall and the speech recognition system in 2008, according to Agfa.
