Hologic wins Premier contract

Premier Purchasing Partners has awarded Hologic of Bedford, Mass., new contracts for mammography and bone densitometry products, and point-of-sale service agreements.

The new agreements are part of a recently announced portfolio of diagnostic imaging awards with Philips Medical Systems, GE Healthcare and Toshiba America Medical Systems and related radiography supplier awards with FujiFilm Medical Systems, Swissray and Quantum Medical Systems, according to the San Diego-based Premier.

Premier serves 1,700 hospitals and more than 49,000 other healthcare sites.

The contracts with Hologic are available to acute and continuum healthcare members of the Premier healthcare alliance.
