Massachusetts health alliance chooses eClinicalWorks

Mount Auburn Cambridge Independent Practice Association (MACIPA) has selected eClinicalWorks’ unified EMRs and practice management solution.

The Westborough, Mass.-based eClinicalWorks said it is also working with MACIPA on interfaces with Meditech to send, receive lab orders and results. eClinicalWorks said its Electronic Health eXchange will eventually enhance communication between primary care and specialist physicians through its Physician Portal, enabling providers to share information on facets of patient care.

The eClinicalWorks said the MACIPA contract has more than 230 physicians, who will participate at 18 sites with 70 providers that are currently live with its portal.
