aycan introduces OsiriXpro workstation

aycan Medical Systems of Rochester, N.Y., introduced its OsiriXpro workstation and aycan xray-print at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) last month in Chicago.

The company’s aycan workstation OsiriXpro, derived from the open-source DICOM image viewer project Osirix, is a cost-effective, FDA-approved, image-processing software dedicated to DICOM images for navigation and visualization of multi-slice and multi-dimensional (3D-reconstruction) studies.

The company also demonstrated its aycan xray-print solution, featuring a wider array of output solutions. The product is a cost-saving DICOM paper print solution which provides an inexpensive way to communicate with referring physicians and patients, according to the developer.
