InterSystems, Oleen, SurgiDat win VA contract

InterSystems, a healthcare database and software developer, and Oleen, an InterSystems implementation partner, have won a contract to provide the InterSystems CACHÉ-based SurgiDat system to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The software agreement will provide the surgical instrument management system, built on InterSystems CACHÉ Database, to nine VA healthcare centers across the United States.

Oleen is an IT consulting firm to the healthcare industry in Silver Springs, Md. SurgiDat, a part of Medical Systems Design, is an InterSystems application partner that specializes in software solutions for inventory automation in healthcare.
