CHMB to provide Allscripts services to California practices

CHMB Solutions will offer Allscripts’ EHR and practice management (PM) services to its nearly 500 clients and other physician practices across California.

The Escondido, Calif.,-based CHMB provides outsourced business services for physician practices, including billing, IT support and application service provider (ASP) solutions such as practice management software.

By hosting Allscripts remotely at a secure data center, CHMB provides a means of delivering patient information to caregivers and practice managers without major investments in hardware or IT resources, according to the Chicago-based Allscripts.

Allscripts said that CHMB will initially provide application hosting, implementation, training and ongoing support of Allscripts for 250 physicians, and over the next two to three years, the group expects to host Allscripts for 400-500 total physicians.
