MedStar installs Cerner in seven hospitals

MedStar Health will deploy multiple Cerner Millennium health IT solutions at all seven of its hospitals.

The Cerner Millennium PathNet, PharmNet, PowerChart and MillenniumPOC solutions will replace the health system’s existing HIT products. The Columbia, Md.-based MedStar said it will use Cerner Millennium solutions to automate clinician documentation, pharmacy and laboratory operations, medication administration processes and bedside care activities.
