Given Imaging wins 5-year, $7.5M VA contract
The Veteran's Administration (VA) National Acquisition Center has granted Given Imaging a new five-year Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, with anticipated revenue of $7.5 million for the video-capsule endoscopy device developer.
The contract covers all of the Yoqneam, Israel-based Given Imaging’s products including the Given Workstation, PillCam SB, PillCam ESO and Agile patency capsule.
Under the contract, all of Given’s existing accounts will be consolidated within the federal government and it will provide government entities, including VA medical centers, Department of Defense Facilities and others, with easier access to its products.
The VA contract covers VA Medical Centers, Department of Defense Facilities, Indian Health Services and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
