Sectra nets RIS/PACS contract with Norway

Sectra Imtec, a provider of digital radiology systems in Scandinavia, and DIPS ASA, a supplier of EMR systems in Norway, have signed a cooperation agreement.

The aim of the agreement is to offer the Norwegian market healthcare IT solutions through tight integration of the companies’ systems for EMR, RIS and PACS.

Through the cooperation, Sectra and DIPS will offer hospitals more efficient handling of patient information and radiology images. The long-term goal is fully integrated EMR and image functionality based on the customers’ user needs and integration and efficiency-enhancement potential, said Tor-Arne Viksjø, president of DIPS ASA.
