N.Y. hospital purchases three IDC DR systems

Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., has purchased Imaging Dynamics Company’s (IDC) X2200, X1590 and X1600 direct digital radiography (DR) systems to replace conventional film x-ray equipment in its three radiography rooms.

Saratoga Hospital has more than 280 physicians with a wide range of medical specialties.

According to Mildred Aviles, director of Medical Imaging Services at Saratoga Hospital, “Upgrading to IDC’s DR systems is helping us to better meet the imaging needs of both our physicians and patients. We are able to provide information more quickly and accurately to a larger number of people.”
