Compressus implements MEDxConnect for Florida hospital group

Compressus has implemented the MEDxConnect System, an integrated digital imaging and data management solution, for E-Rad Solutions teleradiology clients in Florida, Charlotte Regional Medical Center and Peace River Medical Center.

The MEDxConnect System is a suite of tools designed to manage the workflow of an imaging healthcare enterprise and has the power to connect disparate HIS/RIS/PACS systems and provide automated interoperability to the enterprise. MEDxConnect allows an organization with disparate multi-vendor systems to function as one virtual enterprise. Compressus said.

The MEDxConnect System, using the HL7 and DICOM standards, is also able to achieve customer prescribed delivery of appropriate data for review and diagnosis wherever it is needed throughout an enterprise, according to the Washington, D.C.-based company.
